Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A name or case number entered into a search tool is sent directly to the third-party provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Wilkinson County Court Docket does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained as needed to prepare and document a response. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Every time a page on this site loads, our servers pick up some technical details about the visit:
- The IP address assigned to your device
- Which browser you are using and its version
- Your device type and operating system
- The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
- The site that sent you here, if any
- Timestamps for each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a visitor's device. They support aggregate analytics, such as which pages receive traffic and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features behave.
What We Do With This Data
- Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
- Sending your search requests to the right partner service
- Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
- Tracking down and fixing technical issues
- Showing ads that may line up with your interests
No Court-Record Data on File
We do not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of Wilkinson County dockets or personal case information. The site publishes routing information for official clerks, courts, calendars, and Georgia provider directories. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party case profiles.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on this site are powered by outside companies. Anything you enter into those tools is processed under the partner's own privacy policy, not this one. Those partners set their own data-retention and sharing practices, and we do not control them. Review the partner's policy before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to clerk pages, trial-court portals, Georgia provider directories, legal-aid resources, and third-party search tools. Following one of those links leaves Wilkinson County Court Docket, and the destination's privacy policy then governs the visit. Review it before providing personal details.
Certain advertising partners may track your activity across sites to show targeted ads. That tracking runs on their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Some information may end up with:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
- Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
- Ad networks that place ads on our pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet-connected system is completely secure, however, and no guarantee can be made that unauthorized access will never occur.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A verified report that a minor supplied such data will be addressed by deleting it as required.
Your Data Rights
Rights under Georgia privacy or consumer-protection law depend on the type of data and transaction involved. The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. sections 50-18-70 through 50-18-76, concerns qualifying requests made to public custodians. It does not govern this private site's visitor-data practices or make the site a government records office. At a minimum, you can:
- Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
- Have us fix information that is wrong
- Request that we erase your data
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
